Kadkraft Systems, with over 3 decades of experience in distributing CAD/CAM, gearbox, and manufacturing simulation solutions in India, is now joining SIMCON’s distribution network for plastic injection molding simulation and optimization software, CADMOULD and VARIMOS.
Simulation and optimization solutions now available in North India
Renowned plastic injection moulding simulation specialist SIMCON announced today that it had reached a distribution and service agreement with CAE and engineering services company Kadkraft Systems Pvt. Ltd., who will join SIMCON’s distribution network in Northern India. Kadkraft will engage in regional marketing and sales and provide local technical support for SIMCON’s cutting-edge injection moulding simulation software CADMOULD, as well as the unique automatic optimization solution VARIMOS.
SIMCON continues to expand in India
India is home to several automotive and consumer products dealing with plastic components and is rapidly emerging as a global centre of engineering and manufacturing excellence. “As a part of the impressive rise of Indian manufacturing in the past decade, more and more engineers are working on solving the toughest and most challenging plastics manufacturing challenges,” explains Sebastian Sutter, head of international business development at SIMCON. “Our software helps engineers design better parts, moulds, and injection processes faster. Our customers save a lot of time and money, with improved results. They significantly shorten their development cycles, reduce costly mould corrections, and get better first-time-right injection moulding results. The result is lower cost, better utilization of engineering capacity, and a faster time to market. We are excited to work with Kadkraft to make the best German plastics engineering technology available to plastics engineering professionals in India.”
Unique automation and optimization technology
Kadkraft MD Mr. Raman Gupta is particularly excited to offer SIMCON’s world-leading variant analysis and optimization technology, VARIMOS, to its customers. “We are delighted to bring SIMCON’s solutions to our customers. Because CADMOULD’s simulation engine is so performant, you can run multiple simulations concurrently on the same computer. VARIMOS automates this way of working. You can set up, run, and analyse many design variants much more quickly and thoroughly than with other software on the market. Once a customers has experienced this way of working, they won’t want to go back to the old ways of working. We strongly feel that we can establish it successfully in this highly demanding market.”
“This is why many leading German car manufacturers and their suppliers use our software solutions in their part and mould design process,” adds SIMCON CEO Dr. Paul Filz. “Instead of wasting precious engineering time on trying many variants one by one, they let the artificial intelligence in VARIMOS take care of the tedious, repetitive steps. It automatically creates variants of your design, simulates them, and learns from the results. It looks at the results of multiple simulations to help you find the best possible solution. By automating some of the repetitive work, engineers can focus more on actual creative problem solving, discussing results and making decisions with their colleagues and customers. It’s a better use of their time.”
As its computation engine, VARIMOS uses SIMCON’s simulation software CADMOULD to simulate a large number of different designs in parallel. Engineers use the results to anticipate and fix filling issues, as well as shrinkage and warpage, to improve injection moulded parts, moulds and process parameters. They also use VARIMOS to optimize fibre orientations for mechanical applications like crash-testing etc.
Powerful simulation engine and customizable packages
CADMOULD’s is fully modular. There is a range of packages for different needs. Customers can buy or rent the exact functionality modules that they require for their projects. No need to pay for features you do not need!
Superior speed at unrivalled accuracy
Because CADMOULD has the world’s leading 3D-F injection moulding simulation algorithm, it is incredibly fast and precise at the same time. Its unrivalled speed is the foundation for being able to run variant analysis with VARIMOS because this requires running many simulations to explore the options. Thanks to CADMOULD’s sophisticated multi-core CPU parallelization technology, running a large number of simulations is incredibly fast and efficient.
CADMOULD also supports multiple simulation algorithms for different needs. The proprietary 3D-F algorithm offers unrivalled speed at incredible accuracy and is optimized for the vast majority of regular injection-moulded parts. CADMOULD also supports 3D volumetric meshing in case you are working with particularly thick-walled, bulbous, or spherical parts like optical lenses.
Services to get you started up and running quickly
Kadkraft realises that a solid technical interaction with the customer is crucial for the product's success. To ensure that customers get the maximum value from the software quickly, Kadkraft’s local technical team, in collaboration with SIMCON’s central support team, will provide local training, services and support. This way, customers can rest assured that they have world-class support with their toughest challenges. We are there for you!
Our ambition is to teach you everything you need to get going quickly and support you with your most demanding challenges via phone, Teamviewer, or in person. Thankfully, it is easy to get started with CADMOULD and VARIMOS because the user interface is simple and intuitive.
In addition to online and in-person training, we also offer access to our CADMOULD Online Academy e-learning platform, enabling customers to learn how to use CADMOULD interactively, anytime and from any place with an internet connection.
We also offer simulation as a service so that you can see and evaluate the usefulness of results for new parts before you have your own trained team to run simulations for you or if you have limited free capacity to do so yourself. And we are happy to train your internal team to run the simulations yourselves once you get the capacity in place!
